Friends How Many of Us Have Them

I will say that one area in my life where I lack is friends. Most of my life, I have been a loner . . . I guess that is the right word. I didn't have a huge circle of friends and once I got married, I had lost the few I had. Then, once I got divorced and stop going to the Kingdom Hall (the place of worship for Jehovah's Witnesses), I lost those friends.

Sidenote: I have no problems with Jehovah's Witnesses and I may one day go back.

The thing is for the last 11 years, I have had no friends. I have dated a few people, but that is all over and definitely did not lead to any friendships. I have met people through my jobs, but they were co-workers and when the job ended so did the relationships.

And right now, I really wish I had a good friend or two. I could call up and talk to.

Oh well, maybe one day in the future I will make a friend.

Thought of the Day: I am working on an event proposal for sponsorship and it has me so nervous.

it is easy to feel alone and not connected to the "friends" when you got divorced were you dissed? I am a firm believer that Jah gives you what you need when you need it if you are accepting... I am a loner when it comes to family... my family sucks but I was blessed with loyal friends who allowed me to share their family..

I have learned the value in quality and not quantity. my sisterfriends have been with me since elementary school...I have made few new friends in adulthood..
